The following organizations assist us with the operation of GLOWS, either through supplying volunteers or providing services.

The wonderful folks from Adlai Road Church provide volunteers.
Axe Memorial United Methodist Church
Axe opens the doors to their gym during times of inclement weather so we can set up cots and provide shelter for our homeless friends. They serve 3 hot meals each day during this time. Axe also provides volunteers to help cover shifts.
City of Garland
The City of Garland assists us by providing library signs to notify our friends when the shelter will be open, providing first responders to hit the streets to notify our friends the shelter is open, and through leadership and coordination of all organizations within the City that assist our friends through various means.
Garland Pawsibilities provides crates, food and treats for the dogs and cats who may be joining our homeless at the shelter.
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church
The wonderful folks from Gloria Dei Lutheran Church provide volunteers and supplies.
Good Sams provides snacks, water and juice. They provide a pickup location where our homeless can wait indoors until the bus arrives to take them to the shelter. They also assist with volunteers.
Hearts and Hands Community Outreach
Hearts and Hands Community Outreach provides the food and the cooks for the hot and delicious meals we serve during our GLOWS activation.
Lavon Drive Baptist Church
The folks at Lavon Drive Baptist Church provide buses to transport our friends to the shelter when we activate GLOWS (Garland Overnight Warming Station). They also assist with volunteers.
The Matthew 25:40 Project
The folks at The Matthew 25:40 Project store our cots and blankets and help us get them to the shelter. They also provide a pickup location where our homeless can wait indoors until the bus arrives to take them to the shelter. They also provide volunteers.
New Liberty Baptist Church
The wonderful folks from New Liberty Baptist provide volunteers.
The Salvation Army provides a pickup location where our homeless can wait indoors until the bus arrives to take them to the shelter. They also provide an overflow shelter when we get more guests than the facility at Axe can accommodate.
