Where Can I Donate Goods?

The following organizations work collaboratively to help the homeless.  Please considering supporting any of them.

    • Axe Memorial Methodist Church


      The wonderful folks at Axe provide showers to our folks Tuesday and

      Thursday mornings, and the open their gym as our shelter during

      severe weather.


      The following donations can be dropped off at Axe Memorial Methodist

      Church, 1700 W. Kingsley Rd., Garland, on Mondays through

      Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.


      - Blankets

      - Coats

      - Gloves

      - Hats

      - New Socks

      - New Underwear 


      Friendship House


      Donate usable clothing, household items, food and toys at their

      24 hour drop box or by dropping them off during business hours.



      Hearts and Hands Food Pantry


      Hearts and Hands provides a food pantry for our low income



      The following donations can be brought by for the Food Pantry Mondays

      through Thursdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

      - Non-perishable foods

      - Baby care products
      Jelly Preserves
      Packaged Dried Beans
      Spaghetti or Pasta Box
      Oatmeal Box
      Canned meats (chicken, tuna, ham, spam, etc.)
      Canned Soup
      Canned vegetables
      Canned fruit
      Evaporated milk
      Shelf milk
      Peanut butter and jelly
      Box crackers
      Toilet tissue
      Feminine hygiene products
      Baby care products

      Good Samaritans

      Good Sams provides supplemental food assistance via a food pantry with kindness 

      compassion to our hungry and food-insecure neighbors living in Garland, Rowlett, and


      Good Sams is currently short of 


      Canned meat

      - Canned fruit

      - Hearty soup

      - Pasta sauce

      New Liberty Baptist Church

      New Liberty Baptist Church provides free meals, showers, and loving hearts to our

      homeless friends.

      New Liberty welcomes the following donations, which can be dropped off

      on Tuesday evenings, 5-7 p.m. at Turner Hall behind the church at

      New Liberty Baptist Church, 333 W. Centerville Rd.,


      - New underwear

      - New socks

      - New gloves/hats

      - Blankets (gently worn)

      - Heavy coats (gently worn)

      - Tennis shoes

      - Jeans/Pants

      - Warm shirts

      - Boots

      - Fresh chicken/ground beef

      - Hamburger patties/hot dogs

      - Canned vegetables

      - Salad dressings

      - Cans of nacho cheese

      - Boxes of rice/beans/dried pasta

      - Jars of pasta/alfredo sauce

      - All non perishable food items accepted


      Shiloh Church

      Shiloh Church, through its Project 319, collaborates with other entities to help the

      homeless and accepts donations of:

      - Coats

      - Clothing

      - Sweaters

      - Sweatshirts,

      - Hats

      - Gloves

      - Scarves

      - New underwear
